My oil paintings explore the intimate relationship between time and nature. Each piece invites the viewer into a fleeting moment of reflection and connection with the natural world. Through the use of metal leaf, I create a dynamic, transformative surface that captures the shifting qualities of light—a reflection of nature’s constant change.

The metal leaf mirrors the way light interacts with the environment, from sunlight filtering through trees to glimmering reflections on water. As the viewer’s perspective changes throughout the day, the painting shifts in response, offering new layers of depth and luminosity that traditional pigments cannot achieve. This dynamic surface evokes the transient beauty of nature, inviting pause and contemplation of a moment that is ever-changing yet eternally present.

Through these works, I aim to evoke a deeper connection to nature’s complexity, the subtle play of light, and the fleeting moments that pass unnoticed—moments worth reflecting on.
